Later, I bought new light bulbs to practice, and after a month, I was able to carve simple characters. According to him, it took about a year to actually produce the work.

Kong Qingxi has become obsessed with carving. Usually, Kong Qingxi drives his family's agricultural tricycle to nearby villages to collect grain, but every time he goes out, he always brings tools and takes them out to carve twice in his spare time. Kong Qingsi carved the twelve zodiac signs and the eighteen Arhat faces on the light bulb. He struck more than 8000 times on a light bulb before carving the facial makeup of eighteen Arhat.
