At the age of 44, Kong Qingxi has been carving characters on stones for 20 years. This' genius' has been fond of carving since childhood. In 2010, he began practicing engraving and carving on light bulbs. At first, I practiced on discarded light bulbs, but the effect was not good. Later, I bought new light bulbs to practice, and after a month, I was able to carve simple characters. According to him, it took about a year to actually produce the work.

 

Kong Qingxi has become obsessed with carving. Usually, Kong Qingxi drives his family's agricultural tricycle to nearby villages to collect grain, but every time he goes out, he always brings tools and takes them out to carve twice in his spare time. This is Kong Qingxi carving and creating the four gentlemen of plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum on a stone.

 

Kong Qingsi carved the twelve zodiac signs and the eighteen Arhat faces on the light bulb. This is his work of "Eighteen Arhat Facial Makeup", which is more lifelike and lifelike when the light bulb is powered on. He struck more than 8000 times on a light bulb before carving the facial makeup of eighteen Arhat.
